How to assemble a Little Tikes Wave Climber

The Wave Climber by Little Tikes is a great toy. Ours arrived when our twins were less than two years old, and they took to it immediately. 8½ years later it still looks new.

1. Start by assembling the green and yellow walls. Some force (or a big mallet) is required to push the locking tabs through the holes. 1. Start by assembling the green and yellow walls. Some force (or a big mallet) is required to push the locking tabs through the holes.

2. Add the orange wall. Attach it to the green wall but leave it separate for now from the yellow wall. 2. Add the orange wall. Attach it to the green wall but leave it separate for now from the yellow wall.

This is freaking brilliant. Our slide came to us disassembled, second-hand. Why, oh why, did I not look for instructions sooner? Thank you!

My husband no I put this together yesterday. It's been handed down 3 times so far, so it's old! It took us about 40 minutes....we tried 3 different ways until we finally got it. Wish I would have found your directions first, because that was how we finally got it!

Bless you for posting this over 9 years ago!!! We've had the wave climber in our playroom for the past 9 years (it was with my nieces for several years before us, and it's still in GREAT shape!). We finally had to break it down today so we can donate it to our preschool. The breakdown was easy for my husband, but he is very concerned about putting it back together correctly after delivery. Your blog post will make his life MUCH easier this afternoon, especially since the manual is no longer posted on the Little Tikes website. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time so many years ago to post these instructions!

We bought one of these when our daughter was about 2 years old, she is now 24 years old with a 18 month old of her own. I just remembered that we had held onto this wave rider so I got it out, cleaned it up and looked the parts and how they went together...........simple!!!!!!
BUT, only simple because I found this website :-)
Thank you sooooo much, I had it assembled in no more than 5 minutes and I can definitely remember the frustration all those years ago when trying to assemble it.
Cheers
